Don Carmelo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Calmayo AFC the free kick. The supporters of Calmayo AFC booed when Don Carmelo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cosme Sotil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Serafin Corderall's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eusebio Vitin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Paolo Almaraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eusebio Vitin was a little too slow when Mariano Tirso got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 1-0. Serafino Nuñez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paolo Almaraz in the 30th minute of play. Paolo Almaraz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Serafino Nuñez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Mariano Tirso charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mariano Tirso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 34 minutes of play, Don Carmelo FC's Silvestre Honesto made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Serafino Nuñez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Serafino Nuñez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paolo Almaraz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 54th match minute, Calmayo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafin Corderall to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute, Mariano Tirso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Calmayo AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. A collision led to Don Carmelo FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Eustaquio Bitxintxo hit a great ball. After 69 played minutes, Don Carmelo FC's Silvestre Honesto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Serafino Nuñez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Don Carmelo FC reached it. Saturnino Eleazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafino Nuñez having to interfere. Paolo Almaraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the game, Don Carmelo FC's Paolo Almaraz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Serafino Nuñez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. With an all-out effort, Don Carmelo FC's Serafino Nuñez threw himself towards the right post 90 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Paolo Almaraz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After having played for 91 minutes, Paolo Almaraz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Don Carmelo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paolo Almaraz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
