Allen's David Michael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Tirso in the 26th minute of play. Vito Aguiar kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Allen's Eriberto Sandaili got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Calmayo AFC's Mariano Tirso slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of David Michael. That made the score 1-0 after 31 minutes of play. Allen made a substitution. Bernardo Clis replaced Mateo Nataniel. In the 40th minute Hortêncio Marinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Michael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

In the 91st match minute, Calmayo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonzo Elizardo to maneuver through the defense.
