Carlos Cordero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Prejun in the 4th minute of the match. Freddy Miro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Cordero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florinio Rubio in the 7th minute of play. Alberto Prejun scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlos Cordero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Los Borbotones FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Alberto Prejun hit a great ball. 16 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Central's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Prejun came free, but Carlos Cordero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Los Borbotones FC's zone, Bernardino Nuno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastian Naldo came out of the goal and Bernardino Nuno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 19 minutes into the game, Freddy Miro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sebastian Naldo. Freddy Miro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raul Pereira in the 25th minute of play forced Club Atletico Central's goalkeeper Carlos Cordero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastian Naldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy Miro, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Freddy Miro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sebastian Naldo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Mario Faro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Cordero having to make a save. 41 minutes into the game, Florinio Rubio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Carlos Cordero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 46 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Central's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Prejun came free, but Carlos Cordero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Los Borbotones FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aristides Fresco to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Central's Raimundo Sandalio got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 54th match minute, Club Atletico Central was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gavril Zmărăndescu to maneuver through the defense. If Freddy Miro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardino Nuno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Naldo having to interfere. Alberto Prejun hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. 68 minutes into the match, Florinio Rubio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlos Cordero. Club Atletico Central's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Florinio Rubio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. 72 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Central's goal looked a bit too open when Florinio Rubio came free, but Carlos Cordero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aristides Fresco's late challenge caught a Los Borbotones FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aristides Fresco helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Los Borbotones FC booed when Club Atletico Central was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aristides Fresco didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute, Bernardino Nuno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aristides Fresco took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sebastian Naldo. Sebastian Naldo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Sebastian Naldo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aristides Fresco's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Carlos Cordero didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 85th minute, which inside left pole to 2-4. Club Atletico Central's Aristides Fresco got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carlos Cordero stood somewhat misplaced when Florinio Rubio came free in front of goal and shot 2-5 to the left of him in the 96 minute. When the match was over Los Borbotones FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Club Atletico Central throughout the match.
