In the 4th minute of the match, Primitivo Etor tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Santo Mon saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorge Lazcano got free with Santo Mon in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Santo Mon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benigno Bernat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Barracas's Primitivo Etor got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 15th minute Octavio Geleberto collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. In the 28th minute, Barracas's Tomas Joseph seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Tomas Joseph the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Barracas protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Tomas Joseph had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Tomas Joseph hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Virgilio Salbatore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abelardo Luix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, Llisca's goal looked a bit too open when Primitivo Etor came free, but Santo Mon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santo Mon made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Primitivo Etor sent off a good shot on target. Virgilio Salbatore stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Narciso Beti's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Virgilio Salbatore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Primitivo Eyague in the 40th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Primitivo Etor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Santo Mon. Llisca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Primitivo Etor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Primitivo Etor to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Barracas's zone, Armando Marko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Virgilio Salbatore came out of the goal and Armando Marko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 55 minutes into the match, Llisca's goal looked a bit too open when Primitivo Etor came free, but Santo Mon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute, Armando Marko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Barracas's Primitivo Etor in 63 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Santo Mon guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. If Narciso Beti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Primitivo Etor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barracas's supporters rose to their feet, but Primitivo Etor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santo Mon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 77th minute, Fernando da Silveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benigno Bernat in the 84th minute of play forced Llisca's goalkeeper Santo Mon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Benigno Bernat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute Primitivo Eyague shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Salbatore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
