With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yrjänä Nyyssönen in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alejo Gaxan saved River Plate from getting behind.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pedrinho Simões stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
