The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gaudencio Ostargi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnoldo Jayvier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Justo Marz in the 8thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Zacarias Galo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 12 played minutes Polvaredas got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Ur. Honorio Lastur might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zacarias Galo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Honorio Lastur ran back to his position shaking his head. The throw-in from Benjamin Sazon in the 18th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Man Blue's German Naike. In the 24th match minute, Man Blue was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Ferrando to maneuver through the defense. If Gaudencio Ostargi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Justo Marz made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 33rdth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Zacarias Galo would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Arnoldo Jayvier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severiano Lawrence, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Man Blue's Justo Marz got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 46 in the game by Justo Marz from a close distance when the talented Zacarias Galo managed to make a qualified save. Polvaredas's players were relieved. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Jeronimo Castulo kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Arnoldo Jayvier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaudencio Ostargi in the 57th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Justo Marz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zacarias Galo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justo Marz in the 66th minute of play forced Polvaredas's goalkeeper Zacarias Galo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Justo Marz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Justo Marz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zacarias Galo was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Zacarias Galo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justo Marz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Justo Marz in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zacarias Galo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Man Blue's Arnoldo Jayvier got control of the ball when Severiano Lawrence tried to sneak it across the goal line. Polvaredas's Zacarias Galo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justo Marz in the 79th minute of play. Zacarias Galo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Justo Marz went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Polvaredas defense, Justo Marz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zacarias Galo. The Polvaredas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zacarias Galo should have stopped the shot. In the 91st match minute, Man Blue was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Barros to maneuver through the defense. Severiano Lawrence's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Arnoldo Jayvier firmly grabbed it by the left post. Man Blue's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
