Carlos Cayo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Genaro Arnau struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Carlos Cayo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rosario. After a rather tough play, tipy f.c's Flavio Duardo got a free kick in the 18th minute. Carlos Cayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julio Tiadoro in the 19th minute of play. In the 23rd match minute, tipy f.c was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Duardo to maneuver through the defense. If Genaro Arnau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victorio Ponciano took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Carlos Cayo. tipy f.c's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With 36 minutes on the clock, Froilan Tano commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 36 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Rosario! The referee gave tipy f.c a penalty, 38 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Pedro Peio, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Rosario's Bernardino Kaxen. 1-2. 41 minutes into the match, Genaro Arnau had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlos Cayo. tipy f.c's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Genaro Arnau was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. 47 minutes into the match, Rosario's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Claude came free, but Bernardino Kaxen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The tipy f.c players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Rosario were winning 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomás Claude was the one to do the kick off. Carlos Cayo made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Genaro Arnau sent off a good shot on target. Rosario's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gabriel Maore in the 54th minute. A nice corner shot did that Gabriel Maore got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Carlos Cayo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Genaro Arnau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, tipy f.c's Flavio Duardo got a free kick in the 57th minute. After a defensive mix-up in tipy f.c's zone, Genaro Arnau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Cayo came out of the goal and Genaro Arnau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paulino Gorbea struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Carlos Cayo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rosario. In the 68th minute of the game, Genaro Arnau landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Pedro Peio's late challenge caught a Rosario's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Peio helped the player get up and apologised. Rosario's Celedonio Maldonado was substituted for Genaro Arnau. 68 minutes into the game, one of tipy f.c:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Gabriel Maore hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After 81 played minutes tipy f.c got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Duardo. Celedonio Maldonado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Carlos Cayo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bartolo Che recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Gregorio Ayala had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernardino Kaxen. Rosario's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gregorio Ayala was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Celedonio Maldonado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The tipy f.c fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Rosario were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
