Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) When Gervasio Mendebal came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Santa Fe Tatengue FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gervasio Mendebal couldn't finish the play. Florentino Oinaz struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Albino Peyo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santa Fe Tatengue FC. After a rather tough play, Club Sportivo y B. Atenas's Fernando Eutor got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 14th minute of the match Santa Fe Tatengue FC got a corner. Club Sportivo y B. Atenas's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Florentino Oinaz ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Santa Fe Tatengue FC's corner Cesar Nuxila fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Albino Peyo quite easily take care of the ball. If Florentino Oinaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gervasio Mendebal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Albino Peyo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. A collision led to Club Sportivo y B. Atenas getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Francisco Todor hit a great ball. In the 30th minute, Domingos Nayely hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 31 minutes into the match, Santa Fe Tatengue FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicanor Txomin came free, but Aaron Quiroga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aaron Quiroga was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Nicanor Txomin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nicanor Txomin really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Sportivo y B. Atenas's goalkeeper Albino Peyo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Albino Peyo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Gotzon in the 39th minute of play. Albino Peyo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Gotzon, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Rodolfo Gotzon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Albino Peyo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The corner led Santa Fe Tatengue FC's Domingos Nayely to fire away a dangerous shot which Albino Peyo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Florentino Oinaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Gervasio Mendebal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Generoso Abecia in the 70th minute of play forced Santa Fe Tatengue FC's goalkeeper Aaron Quiroga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aaron Quiroga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Restu in the 71st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Club Sportivo y B. Atenas's Fernando Eutor got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Santa Fe Tatengue FC's Rodolfo Gotzon got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Florentino Oinaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute, Rodolfo Gotzon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 87th match minute, Club Sportivo y B. Atenas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Endura to maneuver through the defense. The Club Sportivo y B. Atenas players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
