Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Salsedo's Bruno Emenon started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Damaso Ler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernan Tibalt having to interfere. After having played for 6 minutes, Bartolo Batista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Retiro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bartolo Batista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Braulio Felo hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Hernan Tibalt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Etor in the 14th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Joel Savier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arnulfo Eneto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bruno Emenon went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 30 minutes into the match, Joel Savier notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Retiro's Arnulfo Eneto. Arnulfo Eneto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With his leg Arnulfo Eneto managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Salsedo's Joel Savier fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Retiro's Arnulfo Eneto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Retiro from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Bruno Emenon put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Arnulfo Eneto. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Damaso Ler made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Salsedo booed when Retiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damaso Ler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bruno Emenon in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnulfo Eneto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eusebio Firme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 64th match minute, Salsedo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Llanos to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Salsedo's goalkeeper Hernan Tibalt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 68 minutes into the game, Retiro's Ciro Iratxo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hernan Tibalt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Hernan Tibalt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damaso Ler, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. A collision led to Retiro getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Rogelio Etor hit a great ball. After 81 played minutes Retiro got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Iratxo. The audience was convinced that Bruno Emenon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnulfo Eneto was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Emenon in the 88th minute of play forced Retiro's goalkeeper Arnulfo Eneto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
