Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Celso Raulo made the kick off which started today's match. Agustin Barrionuevo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artemio Bartoleme in the 2nd minute of the match. 5 minutes into the game, one of Saladillo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Azul F.C. a penalty, 7 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Godofredo Estebe, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Saladillo's Gaston Llope. 1-0. In the 15th minute Celso Raulo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaston Llope saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th play minute Cecilio Orain came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Gaston Llope. 2-0. Celso Raulo struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Gaston Llope didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Azul F.C.. Celso Raulo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cecilio Orain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Gaston Llope tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaston Llope didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 28th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. Gervasio Oton kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Mauricio Esiquio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Celso Raulo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mauricio Esiquio to make the kick off. Artemio Bartoleme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 74th minute, Claudio Basajaun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gaston Llope made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cecilio Orain in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st match minute, Saladillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Godofredo Mendiko to maneuver through the defense. Gaston Llope took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cecilio Orain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Celso Raulo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute, Godofredo Mendiko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Godofredo Mendiko fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saladillo's protests and gave Godofredo Mendiko a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Saladillo's Godofredo Mendiko got a free kick in the 91st minute. Azul F.C. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
