Sebastian Padro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Armando Benat's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Anier Veremundo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Nastasio, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 16th minute Maurinho Vasconcelos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Padro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Florida were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Vértiz AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rene Dalmu took the corner. Anier Veremundo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dante Ponciano in the 19th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dante Ponciano got free with Anier Veremundo in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Benat in the 25th minute of play forced Vértiz AFC's goalkeeper Sebastian Padro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicanor Edur hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Gabriel Oro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Anier Veremundo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Vértiz AFC booed when Florida was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicanor Edur didn't get a good kick on the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Armando Benat had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sebastian Padro. Vértiz AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Armando Benat was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Anier Veremundo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dante Ponciano, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Florida's goalkeeper Anier Veremundo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonathan Gervaso. Moises Suarez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Anier Veremundo made a huge save. Victoriano Baumar hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Dante Ponciano took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Anier Veremundo to make any attempt to save it.

Florida were furious when Nicanor Edur was red carded, 51 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 52nd match minute, Florida was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicanor Edur to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Damian Nastasio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vértiz AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Damian Nastasio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anier Veremundo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dante Ponciano might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anier Veremundo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dante Ponciano ran back to his position shaking his head. Florida's Anier Veremundo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Gervaso in the 62nd minute of play. Anier Veremundo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Gervaso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anier Veremundo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dante Ponciano in the 68th minute of the match. Gabriel Oro hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Anier Veremundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dante Ponciano in the 71st minute of play. After 73 minutes, Armando Benat mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Florida and the Vértiz AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 73 played minutes Florida got a freekick which was hit by Armando Benat. Jacobo Kelemen kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Anier Veremundo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dante Ponciano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute, Dante Ponciano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anier Veremundo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 87 minutes into the match, Dante Ponciano notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Florida's Anier Veremundo. Anier Veremundo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 91 played minutes Vértiz AFC got a freekick which was hit by Damian Nastasio. 93 minutes into the match, Florida's goal looked a bit too open when Moises Suarez came free, but Anier Veremundo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vértiz AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
