Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dante Ponciano started the match with the kick off. When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Godfredo Raulo took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Sebastian Padro to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Vértiz AFC's Dante Ponciano got a free kick in the 7th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Dante Ponciano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Patricio Napier. Virreyes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dante Ponciano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 12th minute Elvio Ezkerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Padro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patricio Napier came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Vértiz AFC's Dante Ponciano. But to his dismay, Dante Ponciano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. With 28 minutes on the clock, Gregorio Kimetz commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 27th minute of the game. One of Virreyes:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Vértiz AFC:s goal. Damian Nastasio shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. 32 minutes into the match, Vértiz AFC's goalkeeper Sebastian Padro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Godfredo Raulo. In the 32nd match minute, Vértiz AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dante Ponciano to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elvio Ezkerra in the 37th minute of play forced Vértiz AFC's goalkeeper Sebastian Padro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Godfredo Raulos short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Sebastian Padro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 44 minutes into the game, Gabriel Oro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Patricio Napier was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Virreyes players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vértiz AFC were winning 2-4.
If Dante Ponciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Virreyes's Patricio Napier got control of the ball when Jonathan Gervaso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sebastian Padro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elvio Ezkerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Dante Ponciano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Patricio Napier. Virreyes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dante Ponciano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Dante Ponciano took a quick shot and it went in 2-6 without a chance for Patricio Napier to make any attempt to save it. Patricio Napier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dante Ponciano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Virreyes's Patricio Napier got control of the ball when Jonathan Gervaso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dante Ponciano took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Patricio Napier. Patricio Napier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-7. In the 91st minute, Dante Ponciano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vértiz AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-8. After a rather tough play, Vértiz AFC's Benjamin Kinsen got a free kick in the 94th minute.
