The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Anacleto Chaime kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Nueva Chicago's goalkeeper Salvador Ferrando had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julio Eron. Victoriano Sein didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bonifacio Afonso went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 22 minutes into the game, Nueva Chicago's Florencio Curcio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Victoriano Sein made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Victoriano Sein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bonifacio Afonso in the 26th minute of the match. Chilibroste's Victoriano Sein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florencio Curcio in the 27th minute of play. Julio Eron's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Salvador Ferrando firmly grabbed it by the left post. Antonio Markel hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 41st match minute, Chilibroste was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomero Rojelio to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Nueva Chicago's Salvador Ferrando got control of the ball when Julio Eron tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 46th minute, Paolo Rocio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nueva Chicago fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. The Chilibroste players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Nueva Chicago were winning 0-3.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anacleto Chaime was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Nueva Chicago getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Antonio Varela hit a great ball. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nueva Chicago's goalkeeper Salvador Ferrando, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Salvador Ferrando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anacleto Chaime, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Salvador Ferrando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Markel in the 70th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Florencio Curcio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Victoriano Sein. That made the score 0-4 in the 72 minute of play. Anacleto Chaime sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Florencio Curcio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baldomero Rojelio kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Antonio Markel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Salvador Ferrando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Eron struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Salvador Ferrando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chilibroste. Anacleto Chaime received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Salvador Ferrando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nueva Chicago played a much better game than Chilibroste and deserved their victory. The Chilibroste players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
