The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernesto Montrel got free with Augusto Paul in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Carolo Joey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Knights's supporters rose to their feet, but Carolo Joey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgard Pirmin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Monigotes AFC's Edgard Pirmin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benigno Dominic in the 20th minute of play. Knights's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Domingo Guillerme scored to the left of an out of position Augusto Paul, making the score, 1-0. Faustino Perez's late challenge caught a Monigotes AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Faustino Perez helped the player get up and apologised. Faustino Perez kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Domingo Guillerme managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monigotes AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Domingo Guillerme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Augusto Paul breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ildefonso Qwinton kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Ernesto Montrel struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Augusto Paul didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monigotes AFC. The audience was convinced that Domingo Guillerme's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Augusto Paul was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. In the 42nd minute, Benigno Dominic ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edgard Pirmin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benigno Dominic made a kick off. Maximino Jordy hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Domingo Guillerme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Augusto Paul tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Knights getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Maximino Jordy hit a great ball. After 61 played minutes Knights got a freekick which was hit by Faustino Perez. After having played for 62 minutes, Ernesto Montrel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monigotes AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernesto Montrel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carolo Joey's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edgard Pirmin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Domingo Guillerme in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Augusto Paul saved Knights from getting behind. Augusto Paul took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingo Guillerme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benigno Chus kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Carolo Joey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Pirmin having to interfere. If Ernesto Montrel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Augusto Paul showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingo Guillerme, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 89 minutes into the game, Domingo Guillerme cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Augusto Paul was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Ernesto Montrel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute.
