Clodoveo Cresencio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 29th match minute, Pilar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cecilio Astigar to maneuver through the defense. After 34 played minutes Pilar got a freekick which was hit by Arnaldo Geleberto. Cerrillos AFC's Denislav Dobranov got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Pilar booed when Cerrillos AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severo Erlantz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 53 minutes into the match, Cerrillos AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Gogo Gergori came free, but Clodoveo Cresencio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristobal Faro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clodoveo Cresencio was left in no man's land by his defense there! 84 minutes into the match, Pilar's goalkeeper Sergio Eladio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tolek Burufski. Sergio Eladio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denislav Dobranov in the 89th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gogo Gergori in the 95th minute of play forced Cerrillos AFC's goalkeeper Clodoveo Cresencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pilar's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
