Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Pilar's Cristobal Faro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Lino Cristos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gogo Gergori received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Bernardino Maura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 5 played minutes Traful AFC got a freekick which was hit by Blas Silviano. In the 6th minute, Cristobal Faro fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Bernardino Maura, passed just outside the right post. 9 minutes into the match, Traful AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Geleberto came free, but Bernardino Maura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Venancio Eriz in the 12th minute of play forced Pilar's goalkeeper Sergio Eladio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Traful AFC's goalkeeper Bernardino Maura had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gogo Gergori. 16 minutes into the game, Cristobal Faro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Bernardino Maura was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Javier Nisio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 32 played minutes Pilar got a freekick which was hit by Arnaldo Geleberto. After some careless play in the Pilar defense, Venancio Eriz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sergio Eladio. The Pilar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sergio Eladio should have stopped the shot. 39 minutes into the match, Traful AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristobal Faro came free, but Bernardino Maura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Arnaldo Geleberto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pilar's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnaldo Geleberto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardino Maura breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gogo Gergori could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Bernardino Maura made a huge save. In the 47th minute of the match, Arnaldo Geleberto tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bernardino Maura saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Javier Nisio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
