Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Nemesio Cordero started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Cristian Urtungo made in the 3rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Deportivo El Palomar's Erasmo Ledesma. If Ceferino Cambranes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 6th minute, Ceferino Cambranes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo El Palomar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ceferino Cambranes in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Honorio Berdoi saved Grana from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Grana's zone, Ceferino Cambranes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Honorio Berdoi came out of the goal and Ceferino Cambranes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Honorio Berdoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Ledesma in the 20th minute of play. Grana's Honorio Berdoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ceferino Cambranes in the 29th minute of play. Nemesio Cordero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geronimo Merexildo having to interfere. Vladimiro Orzaize kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Roman Estebano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Grana's goal looked a bit too open when Ben Barends came free, but Honorio Berdoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erasmo Ledesma took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Honorio Berdoi. Honorio Berdoi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After 42 minutes, Baldomiro Banegas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo El Palomar and the Grana players grew even worse after the yellow card. Grana's Adolfo Sansone shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 43rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Geronimo Merexildo but with some difficulty. 44 minutes into the match, Deportivo El Palomar's goalkeeper Geronimo Merexildo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aldo Gartzen. 45 minutes into the match, Deportivo El Palomar's Ceferino Cambranes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Honorio Berdoi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ceferino Cambranes to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ceferino Cambranes in the 52nd minute of play forced Grana's goalkeeper Honorio Berdoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Grana's Leon Osoro got a free kick in the 54th minute. Ceferino Cambranes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Honorio Berdoi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Deportivo El Palomar's Roman Estebano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Honorio Berdoi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ceferino Cambranes struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Honorio Berdoi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo El Palomar. Honorio Berdoi stood somewhat misplaced when Ceferino Cambranes came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 68 minute. When Ceferino Cambranes came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Deportivo El Palomar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ceferino Cambranes couldn't finish the play. After having played for 74 minutes, Nemesio Cordero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nemesio Cordero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ceferino Cambranes in the 83rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Honorio Berdoi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ceferino Cambranes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 86thth minute, Honorio Berdoi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nemesio Cordero in the 87th minute of play forced Deportivo El Palomar's goalkeeper Geronimo Merexildo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Ceferino Cambranes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Honorio Berdoi. Grana's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ceferino Cambranes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. The Grana fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Deportivo El Palomar were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
