With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ceferino Cambranes in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Camilo Bras saved DEFENSORES de RAMOS MEJIA from getting behind. The attack was good, but when Roberto Simão in the 16th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Ceferino Cambranes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Camilo Bras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd match minute, Deportivo El Palomar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ben Barends to maneuver through the defense. When Deportivo El Palomar's Ceferino Cambranes in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. DEFENSORES de RAMOS MEJIA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo El Palomar the free kick. Fábio Santos hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ceferino Cambranes to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Ceferino Cambranes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Camilo Bras was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 59 minutes of play, DEFENSORES de RAMOS MEJIA's Salvador Orkatz made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Geronimo Merexildo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ceferino Cambranes struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Camilo Bras didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo El Palomar. In the 64th minute, Arnaldo Moise hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Camilo Bras was out of position in the 68 minute of play, and Ceferino Cambranes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ceferino Cambranes really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Ben Barends sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Deportivo El Palomar's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
