When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Nunez Feliu took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Mateo Jerardo to make any attempt to save it. Mateo Jerardo made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Aurelio Raitin sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Mateo Jerardo managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when AKILES S.C.'s Nunez Feliu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mateo Jerardo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nunez Feliu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 17 minute of play. After 20 played minutes AKILES S.C. got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Heriberto. After some careless play in the AKILES S.C. defense, Ermegildo Ipar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cornelio Bernad. The AKILES S.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cornelio Bernad should have stopped the shot. AKILES S.C.'s Cornelio Bernad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roderick Ter in the 90th minute of play. Ulises Cordareo's late challenge caught a Chirulitas Jrs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulises Cordareo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Chirulitas Jrs booed when AKILES S.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulises Cordareo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The AKILES S.C. players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
