The supporters of ToCoTaN FC booed when Piñeyro AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Abella didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hector Lauro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benito Cesaro went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benito Cesaro in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hector Lauro saved Piñeyro AFC from getting behind. Rosendo Raymond could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Guillermo Burni made a huge save. In the 17th minute Piñeyro AFC were awarded a corner. Gregorio Clemencin went to the cornerflag to take it. Marco Oroitz was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After a defensive mix-up in ToCoTaN FC's zone, Rosendo Raymond stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guillermo Burni came out of the goal and Rosendo Raymond tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ToCoTaN FC's Guillermo Burni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save ToCoTaN FC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gregorio Clemencin got free with Guillermo Burni in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rosendo Raymond's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Guillermo Burni firmly grabbed it by the left post. With 33 minutes on the clock, Ariel Mitxel commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 32 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for ToCoTaN FC! After 35 minutes ToCoTaN FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gregorio Clemencin who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Rosendo Raymond heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 38 minutes into the match, ToCoTaN FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gregorio Clemencin came free, but Guillermo Burni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ToCoTaN FC's Guillermo Burni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save ToCoTaN FC from getting a goal against them. 41 minutes into the match, ToCoTaN FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gregorio Clemencin came free, but Guillermo Burni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Piñeyro AFC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Hector Lauro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Piñeyro AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ToCoTaN FC were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benito Cesaro to strike the kick off in the second half. If Rosendo Raymond had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Piñeyro AFC's Marco Oroitz got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the last second Hector Lauro throw himself and got hold of the ball when Benito Cesaro in the 59thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. If Gregorio Clemencin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute, Benito Cesaro made a precise shot to the right of Hector Lauro. Piñeyro AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Gregorio Clemencin hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Guillermo Burni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rosendo Raymond in the 75th minute of play. With a little luck, Piñeyro AFC's Hector Lauro got control of the ball when Benito Cesaro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bernabe Balendin charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
