After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Justino Piarres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quiñihual's supporters rose to their feet, but Justino Piarres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramiro Iraunkor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17th match minute, Club Atletico Talleres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristo Aguirre to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Justino Piarres kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ramiro Iraunkor. That made the score 2-0 in the 19 minute of play. Albert Dunlap made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobiasz Michalski in the 26th minute of play. A collision led to Quiñihual getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Omar Rioja hit a great ball. When Rosendo Patxi came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Club Atletico Talleres fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rosendo Patxi couldn't finish the play. Club Atletico Talleres's Ramiro Iraunkor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Rioja in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th match minute, Club Atletico Talleres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobiasz Michalski to maneuver through the defense. Ramiro Iraunkor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justino Piarres, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 32 minutes into the match, Karl Hornvad notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Club Atletico Talleres's Ramiro Iraunkor. When Omar Rioja came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Quiñihual fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Omar Rioja couldn't finish the play. In the 85th minute João Vaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Iraunkor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ramiro Iraunkor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karl Hornvad went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score.
