Cleto Jaunti made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 43 minutes into the match, Necochea's goalkeeper Erubiel Endura had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isaac Theodore. In the 45th minute, Leonides Bidari ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cleto Jaunti was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

After 55 minutes of play, Necochea's Leonides Bidari made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cleto Jaunti was left in no man's land by his defense there! Faustino Chaime sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Faustino Chaime had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 64 played minutes Necochea got a freekick which was hit by Teo Florinio. Erubiel Endura didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Faustino Chaime went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. Cleto Jaunti didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leonides Bidari went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. 76 minutes into the match, Atlanta's goalkeeper Cleto Jaunti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonides Bidari. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Geronimo Beturian during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Leonides Bidari took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cleto Jaunti. Cleto Jaunti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-9. When the match was over Necochea could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Atlanta throughout the match.
