In the 2nd minute, Edgard Ugutz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 7 minutes into the match, Sapitos's goalkeeper Guillermo Ignazio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerardo Orlo. In the 13th minute, Artemio Polo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Naunauco AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavio Isidor in the 21st minute of play forced Naunauco AFC's goalkeeper Armando Froila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Naunauco AFC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Edgard Ugutz hit a great ball. Armando Froila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 贺光洲 in the 24th minute of play. Artemio Polo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Guillermo Ignazio firmly grabbed it by the left post. Teodosio Matxin kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th minute Octavio Isidor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Froila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the game, Ermegildo Quinito cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Armando Froila was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Naunauco AFC's Armando Froila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 贺光洲 in the 32nd minute of play. Sapitos's Blas Cordeal got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edgard Ugutz charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edgard Ugutz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 34th match minute, Naunauco AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Ugutz to maneuver through the defense. Armando Froila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 贺光洲, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the game, Artemio Polo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Guillermo Ignazio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 46th minute, Edgard Ugutz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 贺光洲 to make the kick off. 61 minutes into the match, Artemio Polo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Guillermo Ignazio. Sapitos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Artemio Polo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. After a rather tough play, Sapitos's Blas Cordeal got a free kick in the 65th minute. During the 68th minute of the match Edgard Ugutz completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Edgard Ugutz a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Naunauco AFC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Edgard Ugutz hit a great ball. Armando Froila was out of position in the 72 minute of play, and Blas Cordeal capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Blas Cordeal really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. Armando Froila made an important save on a dangerous shot by 贺光洲 in the 76th minute. After some careless play in the Sapitos defense, Agustin Quexal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guillermo Ignazio. The Sapitos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guillermo Ignazio should have stopped the shot. Teodosio Matxin hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Agustin Quexal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Guillermo Ignazio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Artemio Polo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sapitos's Guillermo Ignazio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustin Quexal in the 88th minute of play. Armando Froila didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 89th minute, which inside left pole to 4-3. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
