After 10 played minutes Escoya got a freekick which was hit by 范青耀. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Tonete in the 11th minute of play forced Escoya's goalkeeper Emanuel Afonso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to San Isidro Jrs B getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Orlando Tonete hit a great ball. Emanuel Afonso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldinho Simões in the 17th minute of play. Isidoro Lluciano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Celso Vargas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Isidoro Lluciano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Celso Vargas. San Isidro Jrs B's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isidoro Lluciano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 27th minute Ronaldinho Simões shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Afonso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Raimundo Raymon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel Afonso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Tonete, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emanuel Afonso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldinho Simões, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ronaldinho Simões to make the kick off. Emanuel Afonso was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eriberto Kinsen showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 53 minute of play. San Isidro Jrs B's Celso Vargas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Mantzio in the 61st minute of play. Escoya's attentive Benito Fero managed to snatch the ball when Rene Duarte made a throw-in in the 93rd minute of the game. The throw-in from Rene Duarte in the 94th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Escoya's Benito Fero. The San Isidro Jrs B supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing San Isidro Jrs B would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
