Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Celestino Kismi took the kick off in the first half of the match. Tiburcio Gonsalvo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Egun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Eleuterio Gonzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teodosio Osmundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemente Egun in the 19th minute of play forced Obligado AFC's goalkeeper Tiburcio Gonsalvo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the game, Gallardeta's Clemente Egun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tiburcio Gonsalvo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemente Egun in the 34th minute of play forced Obligado AFC's goalkeeper Tiburcio Gonsalvo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ezequiel Bernabel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Victor Gaitano fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gallardeta's protests and gave Victor Gaitano a yellow card for diving instead. Victor Gaitano kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After 43 played minutes Gallardeta got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Tancredo. After the first half Gallardeta were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Clemente Egun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Clemente Egun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Teodosio Osmundos short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Tiburcio Gonsalvo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 58th minute, Obligado AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Clemente Egun fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Gallardeta's Clemente Egun was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 60th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Tiburcio Gonsalvo came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Gallardeta's Clemente Egun. But to his dismay, Clemente Egun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Teodosio Osmundo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Clemente Egun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ezequiel Bernabel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 77 minutes into the game, Mateo Rio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Obligado AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gallardeta the free kick. In the 77th match minute, Obligado AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mateo Rio to maneuver through the defense. During the 83rd minute of the match Mateo Rio completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Mateo Rio a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Obligado AFC's Mateo Rio got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 87th of the match, Clemente Egun tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Tiburcio Gonsalvo got in the way and made a wonderful save. Luciano Tancredo might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tiburcio Gonsalvo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luciano Tancredo ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Teodosio Osmundo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gallardeta's supporters rose to their feet, but Teodosio Osmundo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiburcio Gonsalvo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Clemente Egun might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tiburcio Gonsalvo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Clemente Egun ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match was over Gallardeta could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Obligado AFC throughout the match.
