With a couple of smart ball manuevers Celestino Kismi in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anacleto Nayely saved Receptoría from getting behind. Anacleto Nayely made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eleuterio Gonzo in the 4th minute. After a rather tough play, Receptoría's Jacinto Evangelista got a free kick in the 5th minute. Victor Godoy hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Tiburcio Gonsalvo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Venancio Sandalio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the match, Obligado AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Venancio Sandalio came free, but Tiburcio Gonsalvo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Obligado AFC's Celestino Kismi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Anacleto Nayely. That made the score 1-0 after 19 minutes of play. In the 23rd minute Eusebio Caetano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiburcio Gonsalvo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venancio Sandalio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Tiburcio Gonsalvo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ernesto Hitzeder hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Obligado AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ernesto Hitzeder ran over to the corner to take the kick.

The wind increased when Celestino Kismi made the kick off in the second half. After 56 minutes, Eusebio Caetano made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Obligado AFC's Tiburcio Gonsalvo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Eusebio Caetano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Receptoría booed when Obligado AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Omar Urritz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venancio Sandalio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Tiburcio Gonsalvo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Obligado AFC's Tiburcio Gonsalvo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Obligado AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 72nd minute of the match, Venancio Sandalio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tiburcio Gonsalvo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Obligado AFC's goalkeeper Tiburcio Gonsalvo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tiburcio Gonsalvo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Venancio Sandalio, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eusebio Caetano got free with Tiburcio Gonsalvo in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Obligado AFC's goalkeeper Tiburcio Gonsalvo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Receptoría's Eusebio Caetano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tiburcio Gonsalvo. Tiburcio Gonsalvo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Receptoría players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Obligado AFC.
