Marcos Macerio started the match with the kick off. Francisco Urtsin's late challenge caught a Club Atlético Boliche Jr's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Francisco Urtsin helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Club Atlético Boliche Jr booed when Gimnasia y esgrima was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Urtsin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celso de Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Macerio in the 17th minute of the match. In the 20th minute Angelino Estevon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Venancio Platon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute, Paulino Seme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustavo Beltxe, 22 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 24 minutes into the game, Club Atlético Boliche Jr's Feliciano Elija nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Venancio Platon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When Fidel Seber fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gimnasia y esgrima's protests and gave Fidel Seber a yellow card for diving instead. In the 27th minute, Fidel Seber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Venancio Platon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliciano Elija in the 28th minute of the match. Marcos Macerio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Celso de Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47thth minute of the game Feliciano Elija who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gimnasia y esgrima's Venancio Platon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half Club Atlético Boliche Jr were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Feliciano Elija made the kick off in the second half. Feliciano Elija could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Venancio Platon made a huge save. Venancio Platon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinicio Lain in the 55th minute of the match. Celso de Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Macerio, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Gimnasia y esgrima's Venancio Platon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinicio Lain in the 60th minute of play. Bruno Jatsu kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Roni Van Parijs kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Celso de Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Macerio in the 70th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Macerio in the 77th minute of play forced Club Atlético Boliche Jr's goalkeeper Celso de Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Boliche Jr's Bruno Jatsu got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 91st minute, Francisco Urtsin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 94 in the game by Angelino Estevon from a close distance when the talented Venancio Platon managed to make a qualified save. Gimnasia y esgrima's players were relieved. After 95 played minutes Gimnasia y esgrima got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Astudillo. The Gimnasia y esgrima fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Club Atlético Boliche Jr were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
