In the 24th minute, Wilfredo Justin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the match, chaco for ever's goal looked a bit too open when Timoteo Udalaitz came free, but Ulises Leheren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ulises Leheren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timoteo Udalaitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute Wilfredo Justin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Quintyn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Domingos Abascal got free with Ulises Leheren in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 36 minutes into the match, chaco for ever's goalkeeper Ulises Leheren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Domingos Abascal. Victorio Demario kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. The long shot by Amadeo Senen in the 41st minute really tested Ulises Leheren's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anier Quirze to strike the kick off in the second half. After 56 minutes Diadema's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Victorio Demario who took care of the corner kick. Ulises Leheren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timoteo Udalaitz in the 58th minute of the match. In the 61st minute Domingos Abascal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulises Leheren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 63 played minutes, Diadema's Juan Medero shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ulises Leheren came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Diadema reached it. If Timoteo Udalaitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the match, Diadema's goalkeeper Martin Quintyn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anier Quirze. If Wilfredo Justin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Timoteo Udalaitz came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Diadema fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Timoteo Udalaitz couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Domingos Abascal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ulises Leheren was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. In the 87th minute of the match Aquiles Gentza sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Martin Quintyn skillfully saved the ball. Martin Quintyn made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Anier Quirze sent off a good shot on target. For all the effort they put into the match, the chaco for ever players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Diadema.
