Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Patricio Theodore started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 3 played minutes Membrillar FC got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Ruisko. When Patricio Theodore came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Rosario Central fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Theodore couldn't finish the play. Anselmo Ruisko kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Rosario Central's Anibal Gonchan got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Patricio Theodore might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tomas Polentzi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patricio Theodore ran back to his position shaking his head. Tomas Polentzi came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Rosario Central's Abelardo Senin. But to his dismay, Abelardo Senin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Abelardo Senin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Polentzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Theodore in the 20th minute of play. Andres Katia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Membrillar FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Segundo Munio hit a great ball. Abelardo Senin hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After having played for 30 minutes, Abelardo Senin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rosario Central's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abelardo Senin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ladislao Jakobe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Ruisko, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Abelardo Senin kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Anselmo Norino kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Abelardo Senin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tomas Polentzi having to make a save. Tomas Polentzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clodoveo Cordairo, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Andres Katia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Polentzi having to interfere. Clodoveo Cordairo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After a rather tough play, Rosario Central's Anibal Gonchan got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Rosario Central's zone, Anselmo Ruisko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ladislao Jakobe came out of the goal and Anselmo Ruisko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 58 minutes into the match, Segundo Munio notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Rosario Central's Ladislao Jakobe. Ladislao Jakobe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Denis Vermudo hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Rosario Central's Ladislao Jakobe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Ruisko in the 61st minute of play. In the 63rd minute Anselmo Norino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ladislao Jakobe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Polentzi was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Patricio Theodore capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Patricio Theodore really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. In the 73rd minute, Rigoberto Chinto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Denis Vermudo kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Patricio Theodore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Rosario Central booed when Membrillar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornelio Honrio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andres Katia charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andres Katia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Andres Katia hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Denis Vermudo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Abelardo Senin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rosario Central's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
