In the 25thth minute of the game Zeledon Valentine who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Solano FC's Aquiles Firman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Bollocks's Zeledon Valentine sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aquiles Firman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 31st minute, Solano FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Zeledon Valentine fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some careless play in the Bollocks defense, Jimeno Kaxen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Higinio Inguma. The Bollocks fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Higinio Inguma should have stopped the shot. Aquiles Firman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Valentine in the 36th minute of the match. Cláudio Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higinio Inguma having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 46th minute of the game. One of Bollocks:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Solano FC:s goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cláudio Simões to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Solano FC's zone, Flavio Txerran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aquiles Firman came out of the goal and Flavio Txerran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
