After 10 minutes, Rafael Ulizes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Monteagudo FC and the boca juniors players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Monteagudo FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Rafael Ulizes hit a great ball. Moises Videl made an important save on a dangerous shot by Artemio Vito in the 14th minute. When Jonatan Lore came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the boca juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonatan Lore couldn't finish the play. Vladimiro Rutenio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonatan Lore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Jonatan Lore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Monteagudo FC's Vladimiro Rutenio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 程渊 in the 25th minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Rafael Ulizes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Moises Videl, 2-1. When boca juniors's 程渊 in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Andres Firmo scored 3-2 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Moises Videl, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 55 minutes, Artemio Vito mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Monteagudo FC and the boca juniors players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jonatan Lore received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vladimiro Rutenio came out and tried to block the shot, but Jonatan Lore slotted it home off the left post making it 3-3 in the 57th minute. Generoso Iyan hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. boca juniors's Jonatan Lore got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Jonatan Lore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes into the match, Monteagudo FC's goalkeeper Vladimiro Rutenio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 程渊. The crowd rose to their feet as boca juniors's Jonatan Lore slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vladimiro Rutenio. That made the score 3-5 after 76 minutes of play. After some careless play in the boca juniors defense, Rafael Ulizes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Moises Videl. The boca juniors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Moises Videl should have stopped the shot. Monteagudo FC's Vladimiro Rutenio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Monteagudo FC from getting a goal against them. In the 92nd minute, boca juniors's Jonatan Lore dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-6. boca juniors's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
