After some careless play in the El Parro defense, Ramiro Palban kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Octavio Jeraldo. The El Parro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Octavio Jeraldo should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sílvio Luiz Varela in the 14th minute of play forced El Parro's goalkeeper Octavio Jeraldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 19 minutes, Gavino Giro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Marolio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gavino Giro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Deportivo Marolio booed when El Parro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Orland didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute of the match Constantino Nahia shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Octavio Jeraldo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Leandro Olando made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maximo Vincente in the 26th minute. After a rather tough play, El Parro's David Betadur got a free kick in the 28th minute. Ramiro Palban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio Jeraldo having to interfere. Ramiro Palban blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Octavio Jeraldo having to make a save. In the 32nd minute, one of Deportivo Marolio:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Deportivo Marolio. Gavino Giro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Octavio Jeraldo having to make a save. After 41 minutes of play, Deportivo Marolio's Gavino Giro made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Octavio Jeraldo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 45 minutes into the game, Ramiro Palban cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Octavio Jeraldo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The El Parro players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Deportivo Marolio were winning 1-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bernardo Rencio to strike the kick off in the second half. Hugo Muno's late challenge caught a El Parro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hugo Muno helped the player get up and apologised. Hugo Muno hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Gavino Giro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Octavio Jeraldo made a huge save. Octavio Jeraldo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sílvio Luiz Varela's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Gavino Giro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio Jeraldo having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Gavino Giro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Octavio Jeraldo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-5. Deportivo Marolio's Victorio Quintana was substituted for Hugo Muno. Gavino Giro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Octavio Jeraldo made a huge save. Ramiro Palban recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Deportivo Marolio's Rosendo Sidoro was substituted for Lino Atarrabi. Sílvio Luiz Varela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio Jeraldo having to interfere. Sílvio Luiz Varela's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 86thth minute, Octavio Jeraldo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Gavino Giros short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got Octavio Jeraldo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Sílvio Luiz Varela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 93 minutes into the match, Deportivo Marolio's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Rencio came free, but Leandro Olando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leandro Olando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Viator, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The El Parro fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Deportivo Marolio were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
