Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Emiliano Abajas started the match with the kick off. Atilano Navarro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ivan Mendiko came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Velez Sarsfield's Fulgencio Tulio. But to his dismay, Fulgencio Tulio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Sergio Eusko might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armando Beat. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sergio Eusko ran back to his position shaking his head. Ivan Mendiko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atilano Navarro in the 19th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in real madrid fc's zone, Atilano Navarro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Mendiko came out of the goal and Atilano Navarro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Placido Tximitx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 36 minutes, Placido Tximitx made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. real madrid fc's Ivan Mendiko tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ramon Ponce during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Velez Sarsfield booed when real madrid fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramon Ponce didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Placido Tximitx made a kick off. With a little luck, real madrid fc's Ivan Mendiko got control of the ball when Placido Tximitx tried to sneak it across the goal line. Armando Beat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Abajas in the 59th minute of play. 68 minutes into the game, real madrid fc's Sergio Eusko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Armando Beat made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Sergio Eusko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Beat having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Atilano Navarro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Velez Sarsfield's supporters rose to their feet, but Atilano Navarro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Mendiko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Atilano Navarro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Placido Tximitx came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Velez Sarsfield fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Placido Tximitx couldn't finish the play. real madrid fc's Ramon Ponce got his second yellow card of the match in the 86th minute. The referee ordered Ramon Ponce off the ground. A collision led to real madrid fc getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Ramon Ponce hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Velez Sarsfield's Julian Lopez got a free kick in the 89th minute. After having played for 91 minutes, Sergio Eusko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. real madrid fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sergio Eusko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 93 minutes into the game, Placido Tximitx recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ivan Mendiko. Placido Tximitx showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3.
