BAYCORPS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RIVER PLATE AFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, BAYCORPS's Ruben Micael got a free kick in the 9th minute. A collision led to BAYCORPS getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Claudio Lluciano hit a great ball. Norberto Joey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lázaro Feliz in the 15th minute of the match. Witalis Setara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Teodosio Birjaio made a huge save. Norberto Joey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lázaro Feliz in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Crescencio in the 25th minute of play forced RIVER PLATE AFC's goalkeeper Teodosio Birjaio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as BAYCORPS's Marcos Crescencio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Teodosio Birjaio. That made the score 1-0 after 26 minutes of play. Norberto Joey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zacarias Enmanuel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
