Efrain Franco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haroldo Arnau in the 9th minute of the match. Haroldo Arnau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efrain Franco having to interfere. Camilo Lertxun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zsigmond Fehér, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Hugo Ääremaa charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hugo Ääremaa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hugo Ääremaa hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the match, Muñoz AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldo Cefero came free, but Efrain Franco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Efrain Franco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo Arnau, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Zsigmond Fehér dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Camilo Lertxun, 1-0. Zsigmond Fehér could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Camilo Lertxun made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Muñoz AFC's Celso Bastia got a free kick in the 42nd minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Haroldo Arnau stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Grand Soul's Osvaldo Cefero ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Efrain Franco. Efrain Franco yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Grand Soul's Camilo Lertxun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaudencio Cordearo in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st match minute, Grand Soul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Ääremaa to maneuver through the defense. Hugo Ääremaa hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute, Hugo Ääremaa made a precise shot to the right of Efrain Franco. Muñoz AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 82nd minute Teofilo Rencio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Lertxun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Muñoz AFC's Calixto Barreiro got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Camilo Lertxun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ezequiel Calixto, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Muñoz AFC's Ezequiel Calixto got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 91 minutes into the match, Muñoz AFC's goalkeeper Efrain Franco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Osvaldo Cefero. The Muñoz AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Grand Soul were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
