Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tibor Bodnár took the kick off in the first half of the match. Elpidio Mitxaut could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Ernesto Cordarius made a huge save. Teofilo Hernando kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Rafael Matteo hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. C.A.Atlas were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after Romero FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ovidio Gonza took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Romero FC's goalie and right to Yago Cuaron. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Romero FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 16 minutes into the match, C.A.Atlas's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Gonchan came free, but Ernesto Cordarius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ermegildo Reno struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Ernesto Cordarius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Romero FC. Braulio Olentzaro kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Romero FC's zone, Evaristo Cloyo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Atilano Txilar came out of the goal and Evaristo Cloyo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tibor Bodnár in the 27th minute of play forced Romero FC's goalkeeper Atilano Txilar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to C.A.Atlas getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Yago Cuaron hit a great ball. Elpidio Mitxaut charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elpidio Mitxaut the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of C.A.Atlas booed when Romero FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elpidio Mitxaut didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ernesto Cordarius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Gonchan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mario Gonchan in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernesto Cordarius prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Elpidio Mitxaut could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Ernesto Cordarius made a huge save. Gogo Selmo kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the game, Tibor Bodnár was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A.Atlas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Romero FC the free kick. In the 43rd minute of the match, Cristobal Mino tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ernesto Cordarius saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. C.A.Atlas's Ernesto Cordarius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save C.A.Atlas from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

C.A.Atlas's Ernesto Cordarius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristobal Mino in the 53rd minute of play. Eliseo Sugar scored 2-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ernesto Cordarius, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 62nd minute Mario Gonchan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Cordarius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernesto Cordarius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Gonchan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ernesto Cordarius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Gonchan, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 72 minutes into the match, Cristobal Mino notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of C.A.Atlas's Ernesto Cordarius. Ernesto Cordarius was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 75th minute, Pastor Mikeldi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 78 minutes of play, Romero FC's Mario Gonchan made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ernesto Cordarius was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ernesto Cordarius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Gonchan in the 86th minute of the match. In the 87th minute Cristobal Mino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Cordarius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the C.A.Atlas defense, Eliseo Sugar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ernesto Cordarius. The C.A.Atlas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ernesto Cordarius should have stopped the shot. Ernesto Cordarius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elpidio Mitxaut in the 96th minute of play. There was no doubt that Romero FC were the better team. Romero FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
