Vicente Artizar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ambrosio Ciano's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Tomas Ledesma scored 0-2 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vicente Artizar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 20 played minutes Aguapey FC got a freekick which was hit by Edgardo Neto. In the 22nd minute, Romulo Natanael hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 23 in the game by Ahmet Korkut Alptekin from a close distance when the talented Ignacio Domiku managed to make a qualified save. Aguapey FC's players were relieved. Aguapey FC's Ignacio Domiku played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Luke in the 47th minute of play. The Talleres De Cba players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Aguapey FC were winning 0-2.

In the 51st match minute, Aguapey FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 温川真 to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Talleres De Cba booed when Aguapey FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romulo Natanael didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ahmet Korkut Alptekin came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Talleres De Cba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Korkut Alptekin couldn't finish the play. Ignacio Domiku took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikos Veletzas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 89 played minutes Talleres De Cba got a freekick which was hit by Nikos Veletzas. Ignacio Domiku showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Korkut Alptekin, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Although Talleres De Cba had been in control for most of the match, Aguapey FC still came away with the win.
