Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jeronimo Peio started the match with the kick off. Leopoldo Eyague sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Sandalio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvano Kaiet having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Jorge Sandalio made a precise shot to the right of Silvano Kaiet. Pala Rica F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Gustavo Jusepe took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guga Barral. Guga Barral dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The audience was convinced that Gustavo Jusepe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guga Barral was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. In the 24th match minute, Club Atlético Platense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremias Ferrando to maneuver through the defense. When Gustavo Jusepe came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Pala Rica F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo Jusepe couldn't finish the play. After 34 played minutes Club Atlético Platense got a freekick which was hit by Alejo Guillelmus. Leopoldo Eyague recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 39th minute, Leopoldo Eyague got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Pala Rica F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 48th match minute when Pala Rica F.C.'s Gustavo Jusepe looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leopoldo Eyague to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Platense's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Eyague came free, but Guga Barral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeronimo Peio got free with Silvano Kaiet in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gustavo Jusepe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nemesio Botello kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Gustavo Jusepe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Guga Barral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alejo Guillelmus kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After 75 played minutes Club Atlético Platense got a freekick which was hit by Jeremias Ferrando. Club Atlético Platense's Guga Barral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Jusepe in the 77th minute of play. The supporters of Pala Rica F.C. booed when Club Atlético Platense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremias Ferrando didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 81 played minutes Pala Rica F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ovidio Ourente. Guga Barral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Jusepe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leopoldo Eyague's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guga Barral read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Pala Rica F.C.'s Gustavo Jusepe got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Gustavo Jusepe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Leopoldo Eyague fell near the penalty area in the 98th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pala Rica F.C.'s protests and gave Leopoldo Eyague a yellow card for diving instead.
