After 4 minutes of play, Taquello AFC's Leandro Iraitz made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos Tallia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauricio Perrando having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Corrado Magno in the 17th minute of play forced Taquello AFC's goalkeeper Gaspar Tulio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan Mundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xeneize FC's Mauricio Perrando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicanor Castel in the 23rd minute of play. Gaspar Tulio made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Clemente Jayvier sent off a good shot on target. Gaspar Tulio was a little too slow when Corrado Magno got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 1-1. Mauricio Perrando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Mundo in the 35th minute of play. After 36 minutes, Clemente Jayvier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Xeneize FC and the Taquello AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 36th minute, Clemente Jayvier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 42 minutes into the match, Corrado Magno dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gaspar Tulio, 2-1. Corrado Magno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Tulio having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 53rd minute, Clemente Jayvier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 55 minutes into the match, Taquello AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Clemente Jayvier came free, but Gaspar Tulio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adolfo Isusko charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adolfo Isusko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Douglass Grimes charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The supporters of Xeneize FC booed when Taquello AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Douglass Grimes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clemente Jayvier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Gaspar Tulio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Xeneize FC booed when Taquello AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Isusko didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd match minute, Taquello AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Douglass Grimes to maneuver through the defense. Juan Mundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauricio Perrando having to interfere. In the 92nd minute of the match Jorge Oro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gaspar Tulio skillfully saved the ball. Corrado Magno hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Despite being the better team, Taquello AFC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
