Humberto Eguen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. If Haroldo Lopez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elias Millrick didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Evaristo Cordarin went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. 24 minutes into the match, Chapaleofú FC's Evaristo Cordarin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elias Millrick narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Vientos Del Oeste booed when Chapaleofú FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Novo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ermegildo Goren during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 38 played minutes Chapaleofú FC got a freekick which was hit by Ermegildo Goren. Chapaleofú FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeremias Isias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Tiburcio Goiz put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Humberto Eguen. In the 60th match minute, Vientos Del Oeste was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filomeno Ferrando to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Cordarin in the 62nd minute of play forced Vientos Del Oeste's goalkeeper Elias Millrick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ermegildo Goren got free with Elias Millrick in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The attack was good, but when Guaberto Ordono in the 65th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Humberto Eguen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genaro Gaizkine, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Evaristo Cordarin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
