After 15 played minutes Tucumanao AFC got a freekick which was hit by Aurken Vicioso. Severiano Castulo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elvio Chale hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Severiano Castulo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Theobald having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurken Vicioso in the 23rd minute of play forced Ogilvie's goalkeeper Gregorio Platon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Ogilvie's Ísmael Matafonov got a free kick in the 26th minute. Santiago Tipi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baltasar Sotero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 33 played minutes Tucumanao AFC got a freekick which was hit by Anastasio Gartzi. The audience was convinced that Ísmael Matafonov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eduardo Theobald was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Tucumanao AFC defense, Severiano Castulo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eduardo Theobald. The Tucumanao AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eduardo Theobald should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Aurken Vicioso made the kick off in the second half. Santiago Tipi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Eddie Strömberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eddie Strömberg took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gregorio Platon. Gregorio Platon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Ogilvie's Gregorio Platon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurken Vicioso in the 80th minute of play. After having played for 84 minutes, Baltasar Sotero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ogilvie's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baltasar Sotero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aurken Vicioso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregorio Platon having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Leandro Nel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Tucumanao AFC's zone, Severiano Castulo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eduardo Theobald came out of the goal and Severiano Castulo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match was over Ogilvie could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Tucumanao AFC throughout the match.
