Cipriano Tanio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy Kemen, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. La Rotonda de Posadas's Cipriano Tanio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Kemen in the 10th minute of play. In the 14th match minute, La Rotonda de Posadas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geronimo Caradaro to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to La Rotonda de Posadas getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Orlando Tolino hit a great ball. In the 21st minute, Sergio Lizbeth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Velez Sarsfield booed when La Rotonda de Posadas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Geronimo Caradaro in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ovidio Chayo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cipriano Tanio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabian Edorta in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute, Orlando Tolino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to La Rotonda de Posadas getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Rogelio Maxin hit a great ball. Ovidio Chayo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geronimo Caradaro in the 79th minute of the match. 84 minutes in the game, Anselmo Chumo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Cipriano Tanio having to interfere. Ovidio Chayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geronimo Caradaro in the 87th minute of play. In the 94th match minute, Velez Sarsfield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anacleto Edorta to maneuver through the defense. Velez Sarsfield were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing La Rotonda de Posadas to leave the ground with a draw.
