Jacobo Mikelats showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobias Blasi, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Hilario Calisto sped through Fortuna's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Shi Chao Ting. Sixto Eusko's late challenge caught a Fortuna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sixto Eusko helped the player get up and apologised. Sixto Eusko kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 12th minute Tobias Blasi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Mikelats saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacobo Mikelats took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Lluterio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute Denis Guillelmus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Mikelats saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the game, Jose Eneas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fortuna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GUERNICA the free kick. GUERNICA's supporters rose to their feet, but Hilario Calisto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Shi Chao Ting breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jose Eneas kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, one of Fortuna:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Fortuna. The supporters of GUERNICA booed when Fortuna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Guillelmus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hilario Calisto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shi Chao Ting having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Fortuna's Adolfo Rojelio got a free kick in the 40th minute. Jacobo Mikelats didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oscar Lluterio went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After the first half Fortuna were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Hilario Calisto made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to GUERNICA getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Florencio Olo hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Eneas in the 54th minute of play forced GUERNICA's goalkeeper Jacobo Mikelats to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute of the match, Tobias Blasi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jacobo Mikelats was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 58th minute Jose Eneas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Mikelats saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hilario Calisto in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Shi Chao Ting saved Fortuna from getting behind. Hilario Calisto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Shi Chao Ting read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Jose Eneas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jacobo Mikelats. That made the score 1-3 in the 76 minute of play. GUERNICA's Jacobo Mikelats played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Lluterio in the 79th minute of play. German Aznaro kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Jose Eneas was extremely unlucky when he, in the 85th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Jacobo Mikelats made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Lluterio in the 86th minute of play. The supporters of GUERNICA booed when Fortuna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Guillelmus didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Hilario Calisto came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the GUERNICA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hilario Calisto couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Vicente Eusko managed to get in a good position for a shot. GUERNICA's supporters rose to their feet, but Vicente Eusko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Shi Chao Ting breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hilario Calisto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shi Chao Ting having to interfere. The GUERNICA supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Fortuna's performance. The match ended with a win for Fortuna.
