In the 12th minute La Franela de Ciro were awarded a corner. Clemente Sustrai went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 14th minute, Teo Raymon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Teo Raymon took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Vladimiro Cordarrol to make any attempt to save it. Teo Raymon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Vladimiro Cordarrol made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teo Raymon in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vladimiro Cordarrol prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Marcial Columbo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute Artemio Tabb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Cordarrol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vladimiro Cordarrol made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Teo Raymon sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Teo Raymon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vladimiro Cordarrol was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. With a little luck, Estudiantes's Vladimiro Cordarrol got control of the ball when Clemente Sustrai tried to sneak it across the goal line. Teo Raymons short, quick shot in the 46thth minute got Vladimiro Cordarrol to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teo Raymon to make the kick off. Vladimiro Cordarrol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teo Raymon, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Dario Nalo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliciano Botello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 56 minutes into the match, La Franela de Ciro's goalkeeper Dario Nalo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcial Columbo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teo Raymon in the 57th minute of play forced Estudiantes's goalkeeper Vladimiro Cordarrol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Feliciano Botello took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Dario Nalo to make any attempt to save it. Drew Abernathy charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Drew Abernathy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Estudiantes getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Drew Abernathy hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Estudiantes defense, Artemio Tabb kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vladimiro Cordarrol. The Estudiantes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vladimiro Cordarrol should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Teo Raymon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vladimiro Cordarrol was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Artemio Tabb took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vladimiro Cordarrol. Vladimiro Cordarrol dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Teo Raymon managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Franela de Ciro's supporters rose to their feet, but Teo Raymon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vladimiro Cordarrol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teo Raymon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teo Raymon in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vladimiro Cordarrol prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 86 minutes, Teo Raymon made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Estudiantes's Vladimiro Cordarrol tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Vladimiro Cordarrol stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teo Raymon's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Vladimiro Cordarrol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldo Ondino in the 92nd minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. La Franela de Ciro fully deserved thier win.
