But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adan Delfino couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Cañete AFC's zone, Severiano Cambranes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodrigo Ruisko came out of the goal and Severiano Cambranes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Infierno Rojo defense, Valentin Salvino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucas Barto. The Infierno Rojo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucas Barto should have stopped the shot. Roman Riquelme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Barto having to interfere. Lucas Barto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valentin Salvino's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Valentin Salvino put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Lucas Barto. The supporters of Cañete AFC booed when Infierno Rojo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Kepa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Augusto Nikola had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lucas Barto. Infierno Rojo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Augusto Nikola was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Cañete AFC's Rodrigo Ruisko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Cañete AFC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Cañete AFC's Arnulfo Garaona got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 46th minute, Florentino Rameriz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alberto Kepa was the one to do the kick off. In the 64th minute, Severiano Cambranes made a precise shot to the right of Rodrigo Ruisko. Cañete AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Prudencio Salvidor charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Prudencio Salvidor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 73rd match minute, Cañete AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baltasar Jerrold to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute, Prudencio Salvidor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Infierno Rojo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Infierno Rojo's Lucas Barto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Salvino in the 78th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Geronimo Henric during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 79th match minute, Infierno Rojo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geronimo Henric to maneuver through the defense. Rodrigo Ruisko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Kepa, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 84 minutes into the match, Infierno Rojo's goalkeeper Lucas Barto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valentin Salvino. Lucas Barto made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Valentin Salvino sent off a good shot on target. Valentin Salvino struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Lucas Barto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cañete AFC. When the match was over Cañete AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Infierno Rojo throughout the match.
