The supporters of Mallín FC booed when SOFIA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Americo Llope didn't get a good kick on the ball. SOFIA FC's Tobias Barea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save SOFIA FC from getting a goal against them. Augusto Selmo hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Tobias Barea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Herauso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the game, Emiliano Herauso recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tobias Barea. Emiliano Herauso showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Tobias Barea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Herauso in the 17th minute of play. Adam Gierasik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mallín FC's Emiliano Herauso got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 31st minute of the game. One of SOFIA FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mallín FC:s goal. Tobias Barea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albino Eudoxio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute of the match, Emiliano Herauso tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tobias Barea saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Bernardino Goren might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tobias Barea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bernardino Goren ran back to his position shaking his head. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adam Gierasik to make the kick off. Bernardino Goren struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Tobias Barea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mallín FC. In the 56th minute Emiliano Herauso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Barea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximo Enetz took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bonifacio Galeno. Bonifacio Galeno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 61st match minute, Mallín FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albino Eudoxio to maneuver through the defense. Adam Gierasik's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bonifacio Galeno read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. In the 69th minute Bernardino Goren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Barea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 71 minutes, Emiliano Herauso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mallín FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emiliano Herauso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tobias Barea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Herauso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emiliano Herauso kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. In the 84th minute Emiliano Herauso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Barea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SOFIA FC's Tobias Barea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardino Goren in the 85th minute of play. 86 minutes into the game, Mario Goren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SOFIA FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mallín FC the free kick. Tobias Barea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiliano Herauso in the 91st minute of the match. When the match was over SOFIA FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mallín FC throughout the match.
