After 4 played minutes Miramonte got a freekick which was hit by Ceferino Petri. Adolfo Aznar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Niva, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgardo Efren in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elmas Portero saved Miramonte from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Miramonte's Gabriel Azubeli got a free kick in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Kismi in the 18th minute of play forced FC Congodia's goalkeeper Adolfo Aznar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucas Niva hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. The supporters of FC Congodia booed when Miramonte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Azubeli didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 25 in the game by Isidro Estebano from a close distance when the talented Elmas Portero managed to make a qualified save. Miramonte's players were relieved. In the 26th match minute, Miramonte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Azubeli to maneuver through the defense. Miramonte's Efrain Kismi got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Elmas Portero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Efren in the 33rd minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Efrain Kismi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adolfo Aznar. FC Congodia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Efrain Kismi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 38 minutes into the game, Timofey Mozgov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Congodia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Miramonte the free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isidro Estebano got free with Elmas Portero in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ambrosio Pacorro during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 44th match minute, FC Congodia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ambrosio Pacorro to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute, Edgardo Efren fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Elmas Portero, passed just outside the right post. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The wind increased when Edgardo Efren made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Miramonte's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Enrique Abella was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Congodia's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Enrique Abella got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Elmas Portero quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 55 minutes into the match, Efrain Kismi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adolfo Aznar. FC Congodia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Efrain Kismi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After having played for 60 minutes, Isidro Estebano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Congodia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidro Estebano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Timofey Mozgov was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 63 minutes had been played. FC Congodia's Isidro Estebano got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Miramonte's goalkeeper Elmas Portero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Isidro Estebano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elmas Portero having to make a save. With a little luck, FC Congodia's Adolfo Aznar got control of the ball when Efrain Kismi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edgardo Efren tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Adolfo Aznar. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-3 in the 79th minute. Elmas Portero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidro Estebano in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Edgardo Efren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aquilino Isias lost his temper 87 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 87th minute of the game. One of FC Congodia:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Miramonte:s goal. Lucas Niva walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Lucas Niva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Miramonte players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
