Deportivo Celeste FC's Alvin Bollström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Celeste FC from getting a goal against them. Alvin Bollström came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by racing club's Tadeo Lia. But to his dismay, Tadeo Lia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. racing club's Tadeo Lia suffered a concussion in the 16th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. After 16 minutes, Nestor Fernanco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Celeste FC and the racing club players grew even worse after the yellow card. racing club made a substitution. Fiori Freitas replaced Tadeo Lia. In the 17th minute, Nestor Fernanco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alvin Bollström didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 18th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. In the 22nd match minute, racing club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urbano Gonchan to maneuver through the defense. If Chrestian Jyderup had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The racing club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silvestre Clementi should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulgencio Romo in the 32nd minute of play forced Deportivo Celeste FC's goalkeeper Alvin Bollström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 33 played minutes racing club got a freekick which was hit by Urbano Gonchan. Alvin Bollström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusébio Lago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
Victorio Pitin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Silvestre Clementi made a huge save. The referee felt a red card was in order, 54 minutes into the game, when Edgardo Quintan put in a rough tackle. In the 54th minute, Edgardo Quintan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eusébio Lago charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eusébio Lago the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, racing club's Eusébio Lago got a free kick in the 58th minute. racing club's Silvestre Clementi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chrestian Jyderup in the 62nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in racing club's zone, Pablo Seme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvestre Clementi came out of the goal and Pablo Seme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 67 minutes, Justo Jaume mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Celeste FC and the racing club players grew even worse after the yellow card. Justo Jaume kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the game, racing club's Aldo Tirso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alvin Bollström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Oscar Mouricio hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Alvin Bollström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulgencio Romo in the 75th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Nestor Fernanco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute, Virgilio Jurdan sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Deportivo Celeste FC's Alvin Bollström didn't even have to move. In the 79th minute, Aldo Tirso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The racing club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Fiori Freitas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 89th match minute, racing club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ubaldo Arce to maneuver through the defense. Deportivo Celeste FC's Chrestian Jyderup got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eusébio Lago kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Silvestre Clementi made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Victorio Pitin sent off a good shot on target. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. racing club had played much better football throughout.
