If Carlos Dantae had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Darren Ernst took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynaldo Haritzeder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexander Carnevale who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Christian Tavio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 37th match minute, dios salve a la reina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niceto Santana to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 38 minutes, Alexander Carnevale managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. jj lopez's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexander Carnevale was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Darren Ernst came out of the goal and Reynaldo Haritzeder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute Niceto Santana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darren Ernst saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Eusebio Chepe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th match minute, jj lopez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorio Txordon to maneuver through the defense. 49 minutes into the match, Eusebio Chepe notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of jj lopez's Darren Ernst. Darren Ernst was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half.
