Hristo Arangelov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Blaise Michallek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 7th minute of the game. One of BARCELONA FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ituzaingó:s goal. In the 14th minute, Ladislao Salvidor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomas Paul was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Ladislao Salvidor put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tomas Paul. Ituzaingó's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Ladislao Salvidor scored to the left of an out of position Tomas Paul, making the score, 3-0. When Hristo Arangelov came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Ituzaingó fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hristo Arangelov couldn't finish the play. If Apolo Tallia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute Hristo Arangelov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blaise Michallek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ituzaingó's Tomas Paul proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Ituzaingó from getting a goal against them. Blaise Michallek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hristo Arangelov in the 41st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hristo Arangelov in the 43rd minute of play forced BARCELONA FC's goalkeeper Blaise Michallek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Apolo Tallia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blaise Michallek having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Ladislao Salvidor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apolo Tallia in the 48th minute of play forced BARCELONA FC's goalkeeper Blaise Michallek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hristo Arangelov to make the kick off. In the 60th minute Ladislao Salvidor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Paul saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Hristo Arangelov notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of BARCELONA FC's Blaise Michallek. Blaise Michallek was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jonas Toli hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute Ladislao Salvidor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Paul saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ituzaingó's Bernardino Savion quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Herminio Benat, made in the 73rd minute of the game. 74 minutes into the match, BARCELONA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardino Savion came free, but Blaise Michallek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 76 played minutes Ituzaingó got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Precioso. In the 81st match minute, Ituzaingó was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulysses Tinoco to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute, Ladislao Salvidor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 4-2 when Ladislao Salvidor sped through Ituzaingó's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tomas Paul. Augusto Cebo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Blaise Michallek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Ituzaingó's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because BARCELONA FC had won, even though Ituzaingó had held more of the ball.
